Welcome to the personal website of photo journalist Chandra Shekhar Karki. Karki has been taking news photographs since 1989. And has since been an iconic photo journalist in Nepal with not only his event-based photos but also for creative news photography. He has won many national awards. Karki is a founding president of Nepal Forum of Photo Journalists. He also founded PJ Club – a non-profit photo journalism study and training center, and Nepal Photo Agency (NPA) – a premier news photo agency in the country.

Currently the photo editor at Nepal Republic Media, which published two major national dailies Nagarik and Republica, Karki has extensively traveled in the country for photographic works including those for government organizations, UN agencies and INGOs.
